Thank You for STOKED! 2

I can't thank you all enough for contributing to the success of the 2nd Annual Stoked Art Show! After expenses, we will have netted $8900 plus add to that a NEW donation from the Hudson River Bank and Trust Foundation of $5000, so our grand total of proceeds from the show is $13,900! Our goal this year was to raise 10K, so we definitely exceeded that goal and we couldn't have done this without your help. I thank you for extending our invitation to your friends beyond Columbia County.

I have so many requests from artists who didn't contribute this year, but definitely want to for next!

Thanks also to the local press, The Register Star and the Chatham Courier, for such great articles before and after the show!

We are getting very close to our goal of raising $150K for the park. To date we are at approximately $86,000 - more than halfway. I am confident that we can do this within a timely manner. We will keep you posted with updates and other fundraisers as we move along!

The skate park committee will start meeting again at Crellin Park Anyone wishing to be involved in the design process and help with additional fundraisers, please let me know. We definately need your help!

Shari

Skateboard Equipment

Thanks to a grant received from the Ellsworth Kelly Foundation and James Mannion, Donna and Tom Carlucci, Bethanne Rippel, Kris Qua, Tom Hope, Randy Ezinga, and students Carley Rippel, Matt Carlucci, Ryder Simmons, and Ethan Clifford, Crellin Park now has some equipment for skateboarders to use.

Located at the front pavilion near the pond, there are ramps, fun boxes, and grindrails for local youth and adults to skate safely. Helmuts are required for those under 18 and will be strictly enforced. Other rules are posted at the pavilion.

Plans are underway for more fundraising for the skatepark which we hope to have built during springtime next year.
